Other I phone 12 Mini mag safe cover

Does the new range of mag safe cases mean that i phone 12's cannot charge by placing directly onto my existing wireless charger as does i phone Xs + Wireless Airpods Case.

Whilst checking i phone 12 Mini cases via Apple u.k. today -seems it's now almost 50 Uk pounds to purchase a case with mag safe wireless charging capability.
