i phone 3g housing question

i replaced the housing on my 3g and put it back together. all the connections are connected. but my screen and anytthing connected to it isnt working now?

has anybody else had this trouble?

a little peice of plastic came off the connection for ribbon cable 3.

help. please. my phone rings but i cant see anything or answer it

Sounds like something broke in the ribbon cable and/or you don't have all of the connections correctly seated.

would that one cable cause all of the things to not work. the home button, touch on the screen, the speaker....etc?

I dunno, I'm not about to take my phone apart. I'm just stating the obvious, those features worked before you disassembled the phone now they don't and you mentioned something broke on a ribbon cable, so its either that or you failed to properly connect something else.

the connector that the ribbon cable connects two had a little plastic peice come off. not the ribbon cable itself.
