I phone 3gs stuck on apple logo

Okay, so I dropped my Iphone in some water and I put it in some rice and didn't touch it for a week. When I didnt see any more water spots in the camera lens I decided to try it but it won't load past the Apple Logo screen.. Ive tried the DFU bootup but that isnt working... My computer recognizes it when I plug it in... and it restores all the way but still stays on the apple logo screen.... Anyone know any super tricks???

Dumb question maybe, but have you reset it?
