I get so stressed out and want to see the keynote before the product announcements so I go into a phenobarbital coma and have the doctors wake me up as soon as the macrumors spoiler free e-mail alert comes in. Then I get so excited I have to be put back under until the actual iphone is released.

JK...I just refresh my rumor sites nonstop and try to distract myself with video games (playing braid right now) and TV.

It's watching past keynotes for me.

"A wide-screen iPod with touchscreen controls, a revolutionary mobile phone and a breakthrough internet communicator.
An iPod. A Phone. An internet communicator. An iPod. A Phone. An internet communicator. Are you getting it yet?

These are NOT three separate devices. This is ONE device."

Huge Applause.

R-Fly

I tend to just watch past keynotes, i find Apple's own Keynote podcast in iTunes to give the best quality shows and have them all downloaded on my computer

Though this year i've got the day off work and will be walking around the city center with the girlfriend trying to distract myself until 18:00!

The keynote will be at 1PM for me, I will be at work but that's okay because I'll have my iPhone with me and will be checking engadget/macrumors regularly.

I might try to lay off the forums (even on my break) until I get home and read everything but it will be hard because I'll probably be getting text messages from friends about the new iPhone.

I'll be transitioning from my summer class to work when it first starts, so I'll sit down somewhere near work and have the liveblog going :) And then I'll slack off at work and update/refresh it there too. :D

I'll be playing L4D all night long...

There's nothing like killing a bunch of zombies before a keynote.

ha man, if that's your spirit - it's time to install Quake 3 Arena. nothing like getting amped up at 2AM on a master server than usually fails

I'll be on my iPhone 3G at school updating it every 10 seconds during the keynote. Just kidding haha

I don't think I will even attempt to hold out for the video to be posted online at Apple.com later in the day

i usually just try to find something to kill time and make time go by faster like a movie or something.

i usually try to hold out but i always wind up breaking down and reading everything. this time, i don't think i've even gonna try and just read the live blog and watch the video later.

I also recommend watching these forums. The shouting, bitching, trolling, laughing, excitement, happiness, disappointment, and fan-boyism is really on full effect here on Keynote days.

I take a bubble bath with Steve Jobs the night before while he tells me what's coming the next day at the Keynote. He is due to arrive in about an hour so I have to go buy the appropriate materials for our night.
Bye, Macrumors.

Bye, Macrumors.

I'm gonna take a bubble bath with Phil Schiller. Picture that.

I'll end up watching sports....but occasionally come right back here and check on stuff...but tommorrow I specifically made a doctors appt at 11 ET so it kills time between 11 and 1ET(10PT)

...getting the Mac pointed at MacRumorsLive and telling everyone not to contact me for an hour or so :)

Great thread by the way!

Well tomorrow I've got a couple things to do before it starts:

1.) Sleep
Hopefully this will take up a good chunk of the time, I like sleep.
2.) Andrew Bird tickets
I've got to meet my buddy to buy his tickets from him as he'll be out of town.
3.) Eat
I also like to eat.
4.) Read threads like these to see that I'm not alone in my excitement.
5.) ??????
6.) Convince myself that whatever I want to see announced, won't be.
7.) Keynote.

Anyone here in Central timezone and know what time the keynote starts? I believe it's at noon our time but just want more assurance. :D

I usually try to forget it until about an hour before, make sure i eat, make sure i have at least two drinks by me, make sure i've been to the toilet(Both ways if need be). Then start refreshing constantly when a live-blog starts.

Try to go to sleep the night before. (Which doesn't really work because I get excited and can't)
Wake up.
Go to work and try to stay busy until 1 PM (ET); at which time I hope that no one contacts me, and discuss what we are seeing with the guy next to me.
