question, has anyone used "move to iOS" app?
IT was terribly slow. I am switching from the Note 8. Cancelled it and I have another option which is transfer content.

Any app does the Notes that are saved to bring them over to Apple notes?

Also does move to iOS bring over the folders that pictures are in or lump them all together?

Have some time to go but hopefully all I have to switch after this is the notes and hopefully all of my photos move over.

If anyone has any experience with other transfer apps let me know.

It is slow just because the large amount of photos to transfer. But it will transfer them. Maybe not in albums but just in the Camera roll.
Otherwise it transfers almost nothing... Contacts, messages (might be mixed up in the Messages app), installs some of the apps (in case they are paid on AppStore, it doesn't). And... That's pretty much all of it. It even does not transfer the saved WiFi passwords which is odd... But that is iOS after all - different and really conservative operating system. I cannot think of any other transferring app by now...

Well... It is much easier to transfer from one OS to the same (e.g. Smart Switch for Samsung - Samsung could be compared to transfer from one iOS device to another iOS device via iCloud). In this case I could say iCloud makes great archive of like everything - apps, app history, games, messages, passwords... The difference between the two systems makes it hard and not very useful, I guess.

If you have other Apple equipment it is amazingly fast. I went from Note 8 to X also but used my iPad. I tried Move to iOS in the past. Not great. USB-C to lightning won’t work?

Using the camera on the X as OCR as image on the Note 8 works well.

Yeah but were you using iCloud?
I did not get an option for using a cable.
Going from the Note 8 to 10.

I can seemingly get my videos, contacts, and and pix along side my google account but yeah no web bookmarks, no notes, and text messages are questionable....

Probably just keep my note @ this point.
