I.R. Remote support?

Anyone tested Apples ir remote or possibly a Harmony on these 2018 MM's?

I'll assume the lack of an IR receiver will severely limit the usefulness of an IR remote. Right? 😉

The iOS Remote app works pretty well at replacing the little silver remotes. I still use the remote control to quickly change the volume on my iMac and will miss its functionality.

I bought one of these last year on eBay, and MacOS recognized it natively on a Mac Pro, allowing me to pair and use an old white Apple Remote. Can't seem to find that same one listed now though.

I use Jump Desktop to access my MM from my MBP or iPad. But for PLEX Media Player on my tv I prefer to use a Harmony One.
