i know this is a useless post that's probably been made a million times, but i am a software development manager and technical, power user, etc..

I've know unix etc..and have tried to use various RHEL and Debian Linux distros for years and could never make them usable as a "office workstation", but my mac air is great.

It's funny because even though I consider myself a power user, advanced, etc.. the osx experience is just well...simplier and less complex, yet still does all i need and want. There is something refreshing about that...

I'm in the same boat, I deal with Windows and Linux Servers for work all day. It's nice to just come home and use something that is simple. But behind it all is still the power of the unix shell when I need it.
