i received an email asked me to give him my account

Hey, could you give me your iTunes America account, or make me a new
one and then remove the credit card??I'll disassociate my credit card
and give you my iTunes Canada account.

is this a joke?
has anyone received emails of this kind yet?

I wouldnt trust it.
Why would someone want this? If its for a specific artist or album, tell them to go to a record store, like we did back in the day. =-)

Sorry if I'm wrong or if it just works for Canada, but I just created
a new account, did "edit credit card" and put none as my credit card.
How'd you do it before?

here's one of my canadian accounts and it says "no credit card on file"
