Me and my friend are both getting apple watches for Christmas, I’m still waiting to receive mine but my friends was delivered today to my address. I placed it carefully on the sofa in its long brown cardboard box and I accidentally sat on it...

I don’t really want to open it to check if it’s okay as it’s my friends, there doesn’t look like there is much damage to the brown cardboard box. Should the white apple packaging the Watch is in have protected the Watch from damage?

If there is little damage to the shipping box, then you can safely assume there’s even less damage to the Apple box. Highly doubt there’s damage to the watch itself at all. How big is the brown shipping box in comparison to the Apple Watch packaging box?

Pics or it didn’t happen ?

That may well be: However, this inquiring mind wishes to know whether you placed yourself equally carefully on the sofa?

Inquiring minds want to know, how do you know it’s his? And why did it get shipped to your house?

These particular questions also occurred to me.

My initial thought was that they’re exchanging gifts, which would be Apple Watches for each of them. Planned gift exchange. OP may have some sort of discount and thusly, ordered both of them. Who knows lol

The cardboard packaging that Apple uses for the Apple Watch is extremely rigid/durable, there’s no way that watch should be damaged from sitting on it on a couch if it was fully packaged.

Unless you are 3000 lbs of hard steel that sumo drops on the watch, you have nothing to worry about

You're not going to damage an Apple Watch that easily. I abuse the crap out of mine and I've never even cracked the glass.
