I seriously don't see any groundbreaking updates...

    Switch to Windows 8 then. Maybe in the next ten years they'll come up with something user friendly.

    I agree.
    There's nothing like a computer that reads your mind, so you don't make any mistakes….
    That would (to me) be groundbreaking… :D

    The interplay that Continuity enables between the Mac and iOS devices is the headline feature of this release (aside from the redesign). Unfortunately, it is not yet on full display due to Developer Preview/Beta status.

    There mere fact that these yearly updates come free is fairly groundbreaking. People have forgotten what it was like to shell out a good chunk of change year-to-year to acquire these in the past.
