I know what you mean but it isn't quite a scam to you because you willingly sign 2 year contracts at a minimum of $80 a month. Many people aren't willing to do that and want an iPhone at $40 a month on their own plan. You're essentially paying $1,000 more (over 24 months) but don't notice the monthly cost, you only notice that you get to "make" $100 selling an older phone. While others pay $100 more but save $1,000 over the life of a 2 year contract.
Not saying your way is wrong or right. I need the unlimited data and texts so it makes sense for me to sign a 2 year contract.
Thanks for your reply. Your actually rather kind. I'll bet your great with old people and animals
But, I'm going to need a phone. I'm going to be on contract no matter what.
What, am I all of a sudden going to ask "Maybe ATT are thieves" ( like its possible they aren't ?
Point is: ......I don't know what the point is.
Anyway, I've got a new 5s!

The phone is worth more money when not tied to a contract. There isn't any loophole to it.
You mean tied to a carrier?
It's not going to be tied to a contract ( although it's not unlocked)
