This is awful
I agree with those of you that say lay-off. I did something similar to get my first Mac. Last summer I received a new scholarship from my college for a $1,000 a year. My parents were going to have to pay a thousand less for my room and board, so I asked if they would put half of that down so I could get one of the new iBook G4's released late July. They did do that so I only had to pay for half of a new laptop for this school year. I do not know what the big deal is, how many of you honestly would not have done the same. My parents wanted me to get more than I did, but I talked them out of it. If his mom was willing to pay it after he told her the actual price, it don't see the problem. Honestly, how many of you did not lie to or cheat your parents out of money or anything like that? I do not want any responses to this, but honestly think about it. Dude, you are good in my book, and make sure your mom knows how much you care about her. Ask if you can help out around the house because it looks like you have something that some people do not have, a loving home to live in. Keep it going.
