I someone trying to spy on me?

Got this text the other night:

" ALERT.
Someone has tried to locate your mobile phone.
Find out who: https://xxxxxxx.com "

Is this for real or just spam?
Or a jealous ex LOL!

If for real, can they do this? And how can I stop them?

Why not just block them. Texts have phone numbers too. I would never click on their link or reply to these.

I've been lucky so far, I've not gotten any text spam or alerts, but I'd consider this spam as others pointed out

Spam. You have an iPhone it can't be hacked in that way. Now if you had an android phone, given the news that came out this week, it's completely possible.
