Question - how tightly are you holding it? Try holding it as loose as possible, same position and see if that makes any different at all. Not suggesting you should always hold it that way, just testing a theory. (not a new theory, but I've yet to hear what happens)

I have never given it forced "death grip"...just a normal grip, with my plam resting over the lower left corner.

K I was just wondering because an engineer said on one of twit's podcasts that it was caused by the proximity of hand to antenna, not a bridge or short between the two sections. I know this has been discussed like crazy already but I have read where this was put to the test.
