I think AT&T is fixing 3G

I have noticed that my 3g service has improved. I got my iphone on the 11th and 3g was bad. It was worst than my edge speeds, now, it is going strong, it has even registered speeds up to 4 mbps.

I mean wow, what a turn around in service. I think the iPhone will end up helping AT&T improve. my service so far has been at par with verizon ((I switched over)

i think its because the data volumes now are low/normal compare to the 11th

This is what the extra $10 is for in the plans. They may not have updated all your local towers by the time the 3G came out, so a lot of people were being shunted to a single tower. Now they are upgrading other towers and spreading out the load. It is also possible that they simply upgraded the hardwired internet access going to the tower.
