The reason I say this is because I like having a transparent dock and even though the 2D dock is nice, I would prefer no dock and to have everything floating. Before with an Intel Mac, I could have Mirage dock and that would be it and fine.

However, I don't feel like having to find a paid solution to my problem so I found a better way!

I downloaded Docker.app, GIMP 2.6.11 (I made a transparent png) and then created a folder for docker to use the images (the transparent image I created and copied and then renamed) for the dock images and I now have floating dock icons and it is very nice!

I thought that used to be a paid app! If I'm wrong then fine but that was my main reason for not even considering that one this time.

Nope. It was always a freebie.

P.S. Just double-checked through the Internet Wayback Machine. Listed as a freebie.

Even though there was an easier way, I think doing what I did was still pretty awesome. Yeah, it was and I'm going to stick with that even though I "might" download cleardock as well. Anyway, I'm going now.

Oh, I don't deny what you did was awesome and cool! ;)

You got the result that you wanted. And if it helps somewhat, I'm not sure if ClearDock works on Leopard. It's been a long time since I've used it.

I thought GIMP was a Linux distribution, apparently not. Idk where I got that thought from.
