I had the 6 and returned it for the 6 Plus. No regrets. I am loving my 6 Plus. I am 5'2" and have small hands, but I am having no problems holding the phone or using it. Love that I went almost 4 days without having to recharge and I used it for over 7 hours of that time. I bought a wallet type case that allows the phone to stand in landscape mode. Love that too. It fits perfectly in my purse and is well protected.

Perhaps developers will make apps that are easier to use on the 6+ with one hand? I dunno if that can be done, but when I tried one it seemed that some controls were designed back in the teensy iPhone days (some at top, some at bottom, never on side). Anyone know of anything so designed?

Maybe there will be an app that places a 5-sized screen to be moved to any corner for ease of one hand use.

I've had my plus now for about 4 days. I'm on the fence about it. After lots of thought beforehand about the advantages and disadvantages, I went for it but there's really something to be said about actually using one day to day. There's definitely an adjustment to make. It's not like a phone anymore to me but a whole different type of device. I can't just pull it out of my pocket easily when I'm sitting down like I used to or feel confident of not dropping it when using only one hand. And the weight difference is very noticeable coming from a 5. I travel a lot so my initial thought was "bigger screen for watching Netflix, better battery life, better camera, no brainer" but now I'm thinking more seriously about the downside of always having a big ass phone with me. I'm giving to the end of the week and see how I feel. I might be trading it in for a 6 but I won't know at least until I've had it for a little longer.

Well, again tonight I've used my 6 and again, I miss my Plus. Yes, the 6 is gorgeous and (obviously) more portable but I do miss the plus! It's like I can't wait to swop back. The 6 is lighter and smaller (seems tiny!) but the plus is just a perfect device (to me) and will be my phone for the next 13 months. Just my thoughts.

Same for me too. I had the 6 since launch day and did love it. Although a couple days in, once I was used to the phone, I kept thinking about the plus. The amount of time I thought about the plus told me that maybe I wasn't fully satisfied with the 6, so I returned it within the 14 days when I saw my local Apple had a space gray 6+ 128 gig. I've had it for a couple days now and all my regrets are gone. I absolutely love this phone :)

I have both.
The 6s is obnoxiously large.
Fast forward 8 days.
Hmmm it's really not that much bigger than the 6

I have both. The 6 was an amazing phone and met or exceeded every requirement. If the + didn't exist I'd be happy but knowing the plus is there I had to have it like a man child. Whoever said 6+ didn't fit in cup holder is wrong. Only annoying thing is I jog with my phone for run keeper and pandora. It is a light phone so no worries.

I totally agree with you. I've still got my 6 (waiting for Apple to pick up) and tried it again over the weekend. Yes it's an almost perfect phone but now I know the 6 plus I just can't go back. The iPhone 6 Plus is the perfect phone.

I'm with the Verge and Notebookcheck.net, I think the 6 is the superior device. + seems like a novelty for now.

Android phones the size of the plus have been selling in the millions for years so I don't think its a novelty. There is a big market for that size screen. It's funny how it didn't work out for you so now it's a novelty. If you like your 6 good for you, for me the much better battery life, 1080p screen as well as the much bigger screen are worth it and from reading this forum, many agree with me. There is a market for both sizes.cTo each his own.

Well the market for phablets is the minority. But sure, to each his own. I recommend the 6 to pretty much everyone. Unless you want a phablet specifically.

Although my wife and I both have 6 pluses, I bought my daughter a 6. I had a buddy who's 5'7 ask me yesterday which one I thought he should buy and I said the 6 too. I understand it's not for everyone. I think phablets are much more popular than you think. The note 3, which is the about the same size as the 6 plus, sold 15 million units in just a 3 month period so it's a pretty big minority who want devices this large.

Apple lost many of those people to Samsung and other makers because they kept their screens on the smaller side. With the plus, Apple got rid of the main advantage Samsung and other makers had on them. Many android users are switching back to Apple because of the 6 plus. It's a genius move on apples part and definitely not a novelty.
