Well, i installed jailbreak on a new ipod 1.1.1

everything went swell. I then decided to install apache and some *ahem* movie files and that went ok too.

I then installed the nes emulator and went into the ipod with sftp and created the proper directories for games and uploaded some to the device.

    Then things went wrong.

Firstly, all my music dissapeared from the device. I had connected the touch to the mac and it said there was no music (only a few podcasts) and now 3 gigs of "other data"

I went ahead and deleted the nes roms, and also uninstalled the emulator, and transferred back all my music, and deleted all of apache and other files...

it still says that i have 1.5 gigs of "other" data though.

i only have 198 songs on the ipod. how do i have that much other stuff on it?
I have mail installed with my gmail account... but i know that isnt effecting things that much.

All i can think of is that i ran a command to move the apache server from the 300 meg part of the ipod to the data part when i installed apache for the movies... but where can i delete that?

can someone help to chime in?
