I think my iPhone broke

Earlier today I just stopped receiving texts/phone calls. I can make them, but I can't receive anything.

My phone was jailbroken (issue occurred while it was jailbroken), but went through the steps to get back to normal settings, but still fubar'd.

Any ideas?

I did a full restore back to factory settings and hard restart.
Still nothing.

Have you done the obvious and checked with your network incase of errors?

Do you have a sim adapter and ability to test Sim in a different handset?

Awww, his jailbroken phone was all broked and he don't know how to call support or find a store so comes on here to get it all mended up...diddums!

Dont think slating people who have jail broken devices is in an way productive or helpful.

Do a DFU restore and see if that clears up your issue. If that doesn't help, then make an appointment to your nearest Genius Bar.

It's kinda' obvious that either the network he is on has issues, or there is a hardware problem with either the sim card or the phone. All it takes one one phone call to his service provider and they will be able to advise of any network-related issues. The outcome of that determines a trip/call to Apple...hardly rocket science, but some people just can't think for themselves these days it would seem.
