I think the new Chrysler/Fiat merger would help alot with a new Chrysler Crossfire.

What's funny?

No, black, red, white whatever. It's just a very feminine car. As if the Mercedes SLK350. I attribute dudes who drive those cards, and the Honda S2K as dudes who buy small shirts when they should wear a large and the word Affliction is plastered across the back and/or front.

It is an opinion, and like *******s we all have them and they all stink.

Sorry, but with so many great alternatives who would buy a "sporty" chrysler...???

Also the original crossfire was just a 1st gen Merc SLK with an uglier body.

its a cool looking car from the front, then the end of the car kinda killed it.

I think chrysler shouldn't make sport cars.

The Chrysler was alot cheaper, and what other cheaper alternatives were there?

Honda S2000? Then again, the Chrysler wasn't meant to appeal to the same type of person - S2000 is a fairly raw sports car and the Crossfire is for older people that want a luxury look and to feel sporty.

The Crossfire is the reverse mullet of cars, party in the front business in the back.

*that's what she said*

Not that I'm a fan of Crossfire but if you think such a thing about people in S2Ks, I bet you insist that everybody driving a Miata is a hairdresser gay type. Am I right?

Just out of curiosity, what do you drive?

Not worth the time, let her think what she thinks - she's obviously not the type a car person would be after. ;)

And just what is that supposed to mean? She has a brain, an opinion and will tell you? Probably correct in that she's not after a car person.

I think what he said was she is not the kind of girl a car enthusiast would date. And if she dismisses S2k as a car for losers then he is probably right.

I loved them, but the attitude of the posts in this thread is one of the huge reasons why nothing (so far) can save Chrysler.

If someone slapped a BMW logo on that car everyone here would be dreaming about owning one, probably half the people would have a picture of it as their desktop wallpaper.

Anyway, I think they looked better in SRT6 roadster form:

Ugh. The Crossfire is just a Merc SLK that got bitch slapped with a fugly stick. Good riddance to it. I hate how it looks.

There aren't enough pubes sticking out from the back.

It's just an uglier version of the Merc, but I still think it looks good. Good, but not great.

And the S2000 is great. It's just a raw sports car. It didn't necessarily have the same flashy image as sporty Italian and German cars, but people who buy it aren't as worried about their image as they are about owning a good sports car. Or perhaps perception of this car was different outside the US??

True, and I think it is even uglier!

Not true, most of what attracts people to BMW is the combination of luxury, power, and looks. Slapping a BMW logo on that car and not giving it the luxury features and power will not make it more attractive.
