I thought message search in iOS 7 was fixed?

I'm positive I remembered reading that spotlight search for messages worked correctly in iOS 7. I just tried a search and the results came back, but when I tap the result I want, it takes me to the last message with that person - not the text earlier in the conversation. Is it just me or has this still not been fixed?

This does the same on mine rather annoyingly.

It finds a message from last year, yet when I click on it, it takes me to the latest message from that person.

It only does it on some specific searches weirdly. It will work for some and not other messages that are further back.
