General I thought Siri was supposed to know about the World Cup?

I asked these questions of Siri five minutes ago:

She is picky on how you phrase it. If you ask "what is the score of the world cup match", she will inform you that they are into second overtime period and 2-1.

Ugh...so much for 'machine learning'. I'm sure there are plenty of people around the world who asked the same questions I did within the past two hours. You'd think if Siri was actually utilizing machine learning, it would've been able to answer the questions exactly as I phrased them. John Giannandrea to the rescue eventually, I hope.

Siri is very picky about how you have to say commands. I hope they will bring Siri now in shape.

Oddly, now that the game is over, the same two questions I asked while the game was being played get meaningful responses from Siri:

As regards football, whatever Siri does/doesn't know about it will still be more than I do !!!

Oh agree on Siri (not on football!). Unless you are driving or live alone why would you want to ask Siri stuff instead of typing it in a browser?
