Does anyone else find themselves getting "Windoze rage" when they have to use a PC? Little things really get to me when I'm using Word for Windows- it literally makes me angry 😀

I totaly agree,

it's the small things that makes me happy from this little simple perfect machine using OSX.

I like it a lot and i am recent switcher from windows.

If only office 2007 could come out for MAC OS as well...

cheers..

I totally agree too. I can't stand using Windows. When I'm at work I'm forced to use a PC. I have to fight tooth and nail with it all day to get stuff done. Stuff that takes me seconds on the Mac, takes me forever on the PC. And that's if it doesn't lock up or hang. I spend more time figuring something out, or trying to get around a snag than actually getting stuff done. And god help me if I have to reboot. Everything in Windows seems so inconvenient and poorly thought out. On the Mac, things always appear to be where I expect them and do what I expect them to do when I tell it to do it. There's nothing intuitive about Windows.

you know this is the first time I have actually not wanted to throw a troll in a lake where it belongs

Every time! 😛

I turned on my parent's PC the other day to print something out, only to be plastered with update messages etc. In the end it took me ~1 1/2 hours just to print the document because of bloody antivirus program etc. (not to mention the crashes.)

AAARGH!

if only more Windows users could read this thread and at least try OS X with an open mind.

So true. They are just so stubborn (some of them). Many long-time IT PC guys are just too stubborn to try anything else, but I have talked to many that have tried it after using PC's for way to long. They love it, obviously. I have been using macs for over 13 years.

Man, if you think a weekend with Windows is bad. Imagine being a Mac user and having to use Windows at work 5 days out of the week. For years. 🙁

yah i know your exact feeling... I had been a mac user my whole life... except for when using the school computers. Whenever I griped about how the school computers sucked, everyone would say "all school computers suck... its not windows fault" so i agreed and was pretty mcuh convinced that windows WAS decent alternative and that OS X isnt really that muhc greater.

But whenever I go to my friends house and use his computer... its so ******. I mean I cant understand how people put up with that crap. They boguht like a brand new PC, and it's ALREADY slower then my 1 and half year old macbok. (and I mean my macbook is a laptop and their PC is a desktop) Thats REALLY sad. Plus NOTHING is consistent, like the menu items are different from every app. I love how OS X always has the menu items organized universally for every app.
