“I” to A[?] Bug not fixed on 11.1.1 or 11.1.2

have a friend who is still having the “I” glitch though she is updated to 11.1.2 ... any ideas?

Is the bug occurring when they send a message or receive? If your friend is on the receiving end, the sending party needs to update their phone.

I’m on 11.2.1 and my iPhone randomly doesn’t capitalize “i”. I’ve tried adding it to shortcuts and it still misses it sometimes.

No it should be fixed on both

Maybe a hard reset ? Home button and power button until Apple logo ? And clearing the affected conversations? Maybe it carried over
