If I buy an iPod Touch after 12 October, does it come with IOS 5?
The iPod Touch 4G is arguably the world's most popular portable multimedia device and even in this sluggish economy, it's very affordable. Depending on which capacity you choose - 8G, 32G, or 64G, you'll get up to 16,000 songs, 80,000 photos, or 80 hours of video. It's got Wi-Fi and supports 802.11b/g/n wireless technology. That means you'll be connected anywhere there's Wi-Fi. It packs a Retina display so you'll be able to view the LED display at a wider range and at a higher resolution (326 pixels per inch).
Very, very unlikely. There is no new touch, except for a new white version of the 4th generation.I'm disappointed with what we have apparently been given but I do hold out hope that at least the new Touch will have 512Mb Ram in it. We should know by Wednesday from Ifixit. That would be enough for me to buy it.

Why is it that I get the impression you are an apple employee trying to do damage control on the Touch?
