I-Tune account showing wrong account

I recently bought from Apple, A 3Gs 16 gig I-phone. My son who had an I-phone, activated mine using his I-Tunes account. The only problem now is that i set up my account and it shows my account as the active account, but when i go to purchase something it keeps asking me for his password under his account, which he does not remember, i need some help with this.

Go to Settings then Store
You can Sign Out and Sign In with your account.
