Public Beta. I thought I'd get involved in this and at first really enjoyed it. Especially on my iPad Air 2. However just before the iPhone 6S, iPad Pro etc announcement, I unenrolled as I wanted to be able to get my hands on the public release and was worried that being part of the beta programme would stop this. Problem solved, right? Wrong. Today, Monday 14th, I receive a notification on my phone as soon as I unlocked it saying "A new iOS update is now available. Please update from the iOS 9 beta. I go to settings and look at Software Update and there is iOS9.1 Beta 1. I don't want to download this as I actually want a final stable version of iOS 9 first. Especially as I've heard that 9.1 renders WhatsApp broken. Now every time I unlock my phone, and I genuinely mean EVERY TIME, I get the notification come up and cannot do anything else on the phone until I dismiss it! I've also noticed this is now stopping me from receiving notifications of messages etc on my Apple Watch! How do I stop this from happening? Now that iOS 9.1 is showing in Software Update on my phone does that mean I now won't get the final public release of iOS 9 on Wednesday?? Any help guys as this is really really making me regret signing up to the beta. Also, if it helps, I didn't back up my phone before I install the 9 public beta. I don't have a computer in order to do this. Am I effed?
