I love my 2015 MB, however I made the mistake of getting 128gb and I never got Apple Care and let my warranty expire, so I decided to take the leap and get the new 2017 MBP. My MBP 2015 w/retina was fast, but this machine is unbelievable. I got the 512 gb version to future proof. The only thing I am not a huge fan of is the keyboard. Is it something that grows on you eventually? By the way, the topic is supposed to be upgraded to a MBP 2017.

I've had the 2017 for a month now and I don't notice the keyboard any more - not even the noise :)

Just buy it use it and if not like it, return it. Why so much opinion to asked. For myself I like the new keyboard better.

When I decided on my Early 2015 13 inch purchase, I considered the 128 GB model, but I thought it would be a significant squeeze, so I jumped for the 256. Been happy with it ever since, but the retina display lamination is going, so I need to get that replaced. I don't see myself upgrading anytime soon, since it already does what I need and I am sure it has a lot of future macOS revisions to get before Apple drops support. Probably around 2020 or 2021, I will be in the market for new one.
