Apple to buy Nintendo, and thus have all their games on the Appstore, download, from Gameboy, to NDS, to N64, and whatever they can come up with. It'll rock and be the best thing to happen to handhelds.

I want Apple TV with to be my Wii2 or Wii3, with all the fancy multi-touch or gesture and/or... again... whatever Apple can come up with. I'd have tv shows and movies, and now fancy nintendo and other publishers games...

Anyone has this dream too?

I rather not have companies start gobbling up each other. Better they compete and drive each other to make better products. What I really want is a MacPro Mini, but that will never happen. *sigh*

If you knew anything about Nintendo you know that they have a chronic case of pride. Same way that they would never get rid of their hardware business, they would never sell out to an American company.

Saying that, it's always a possibility that Nintendo could come under new management that would allow this - but it would be extremely hard (Nintendo board members wouldn't bring someone on board without the same pride for instance).

Nintendo uses the same hardware Apple and IBM used to use for their Power PC processors the Gamecube came standard with a 500 Mhz Motorola PowerPC CPU common in many older Macs with very few differences and if I recall the Wii is still based around it, I wouldn't doubt that there hasn't already been some influential investments involved by both Apple and IBM in Nintendo's hardware early in this decade to try to keep PPC architecture alive in some way.

I want Nintendo to buy Gap after Gap buys Starbucks. Then, Sony should buy Nintendo, then Oracle buys Sony, then ExxonMobile to buy Oracle, then Wal-mart buys out ExxonMobile, and finally Apple buys Wal-mart. Think of it! You could buy gas right on your mobile device, store your mileage in a secure database, and pick up a pricey latte, a pair of quality jeans, some pen refills, deodorant and a head of cabbage ...all on your iPhone! Wow! It would seriously be the most wonderful, rainbow-out-a-unicorn's-whatsit shiznit EVAR.

I see no mention of Taco Bell in this scenario... no chalupa = FAIL. :)

Taco Bell is it's own special case. You see, in the coming franchise wars, Taco Bell will probably be the only restaurant to survive. Then, every restaurant will be Taco Bell. You will be happy.

Haven't you seen Demolition Man? They're one step ahead of you!
