Vudu is the only place to get 4K digital copies of Disney movies as well.

Well, sure, if you don't count Amazon, FandangoNow, Google, or Microsoft. ;)

Also they're really expensive. Top price.

I'm in the U.S., so may be different if you live elsewhere, but I predominantly buy $4.99 movies from iTunes... many in 4K, that port out to MA as such.

Some movies are the same price on iTunes as VUDU, and some are cheaper on or the other depending upon what's on sale at each respective retailer.

Most new release films are the same price on VUDU, though new release films from Paramount are $5 cheaper on iTunes than VUDU if you want 4K.

At this point I would say the same with Vudu. Vudu is the only place to get 4K digital copies of Disney movies as well.

or MoviesAnywhere:

There's always purchasing a 4K disc that comes with a 4K digital copy as well, but again, I was focusing on purchasing digitally from a digital movie retailer.

The digital code vendors that I have used allowed the selection of redemption site - iTunes, Movies Anywhere, Vudu .... I get most of my codes from 4k disk digital copies, and many of those also allow one to select where to redeem the code. Unfortunately that's not the case for some movies.

The movie studio and movie will determine the redemption site. Often, Lionsgate will allow Vudu or iTunes for USA codes. Warner often has Vudu or MA for USA codes. Disney is either Google or MA for USA codes.
