If you buy the iPhone 5s, make sure you find one with iOS 7.1.2. That version ran very well with no lags or stuttering animations.
If you want one and are ok with the smaller screen size, sure. It's still a perfectly capable iPhone.is it worth it????
Yeah, new they aren't "cheap", but you can find some deals. I got my wife the 64GB 5S on T-Mobile because they had it the same price as the 16GB version ($549) and a $72 promo on the higher capacity models, making the phone $478. For that price it was a good deal for us. Only issue was she wanted Space Gray and they only had silver and gold in stock, she got silver instead.For those who prefer a smaller screen the 5S is still an outstanding device. You can still find them new but they are not cheap.
iphone 5s with iOS 8 is already laggy especially in text messages. Cant imagine iOS 9.I think the iPhone 5S with iOS9 is a great product for the price.
If I had to score an iPhone before the iPhone 6S, it would probably be the 5S.
