I want to preorder but...

Hey guys, I could really use some advise. I want to preorder the 4S as it would be my first iPhone, however I'm in another state doing a internship and when I called Apple, they informed me that they will only ship it to the Billing address which is not advantageous (being out of state).

I have heard mixed answers from VZW as one rep has told me no, they would have to ship it to my billing address, and 2 reps have told me I could change my shipping address.

I guess my question(s) are:

Can anyone confirm the VZW shipping address/billing address issue?

If VZW falls through, what's my best route in securing a 4S

send it to your house and have a family member get it then ship it to you? that's what I would do!

Wait in line at the store Oct 14th. I dont think the demand for this phone will be as great as past releases.

Of course they are only going to ship to the billing address. Can you imagine the thievery if they allowed anything else.

Just call your credit card company and add another address... it's takes 2 min.
