I want to test my RAM. How?

I'd like to reassure myself that my new RAM in my MacBook is solid like a rock. So I want to put it through a gauntlet of tortures. What's the best way to test it?

I also can use Windows (obviously) or any of the Linuxes, so if there's better RAM testing tools on those OSes, do mention them!

(And I say NO to Rember, one of the crappiest software out there, so don't recommend that).

Microsoft actually has their own memory tester. This will only work in Windows but since you said you can run it, that shouldn't be an issue.*
