I was going to get my iphone changed at the apple store because it because the volume buttons became defective, but right as I was leaving my phone dropped on the ground and small crack appeared at the bottom. Will they still change it? It's still under the one year warranty that I got it. Also I already know that they would switch it for the buttons, I just don't if they'll do it now because of the crack.

It's 100% up to the individual that helps you. I've read where people in a similar situation had no problems, whereas others did.

Just be a genuinely nice to whomever helps you and hope for the best!

As you were leaving the store itself? If the hardware is faulty they should but they may say it's to do with the drop, even though it obviously, to you, wasn't.
