It's a rather simple piece of hardware. It should be safe once it dries. Which it is. 🙄

I'm still using a USB flash drive that's gone through the washer/dryer, and it's still more reliable than others I've bought since 😛

Good to know that the Apple Remote's tough enough for that though.

I use to do it on my wired apple keyboard to clean it. the dishwasher works great! Just let it dry for a day and it looks as good as new.
