I woke up this morning and my Iphone 4S is bricked!

I was on the phone with Apple (I have Apple Care Plus) for over two hours. We tried everything, and it will not restore. I keep getting "error 21". He even took over my computer and uninstalled all kinds of things that he thought might be causing it, and nothing worked. Now, I have to drive over two hours to the closest apple store, to get my new phone, because I didn't want to be without a phone for that long. At least it is free, I just wish the gas for the trip was lol.

Have any of you ever heard of this problem before?

I'm not sure what that is. I just did whatever he told me to do. How do I do that?

Apple's support website lists error 21 as a problem with security software on your computer. I would temporarily disable anti-virus/spyware programs you have on the machine and try again.

We've done all of that.
