I'm a newbie here because of the watch. I own several Apple products and have for several years.

With the announcement of the Apple Watch I started doing some research, which quickly lead me here!

You all are a very informative, great bunch of people and ultimately helped me decide on getting the watch, which size, style etc. and how to get the most out of it!

Thanks everyone, I really enjoy it here! And I love my Apple Watch!!

Glad to hear this forum helped! Which did you end up buying?

Thank you, it did!

I went with a 38mm SS BCB, and just got a BSB for it today.

I'm so glad someone else posted this, I've been thinking the same thing. I've read this forum sporadically over the past several years but never created an account until I started researching the watch, and then the wait, oh the wait! Which was made so much more tolerable (and at times more frantic) by this form ;)

And then my watch arrived and I was like, oh wait, what about the forum, now what do I do with my spare time at work? :p

Thank you to everyone!

I've been a member for 5 years boy it sure hasn't felt like it. Yes this community can be very helpful but also very immature at times! But hey thats the internet. However, I've never seen funnier comments in my life! lol

Yes, the anticipation and the wait was made easier, for the most part via this forum.

I've had my watch a little over 3 weeks now and I still enjoy hanging out here. I still watch the "show of your watch thread" even though I know what the darn thing looks like! Lol. And I enjoy reading a lot of the other threads also.

Enjoy your Watch!

True! There are a lot of both, funny comments and immaturity!

I got my watch the morning of the 24th (sorry to those who didn't) and love it - today I passed 10,000 steps for the first time, and filled all my rings, and I never would have guessed how glad that would have made me! I do still enjoy reading some of the threads, helping out people who haven't received theirs yet or who haven't figured out something, and occasionally still learning something new.

I couldn't say it better! These forums have been a life saver over the past 40 days waiting for my watch! Sharing the pain of waiting and the anticipation of getting the watch with fellow Apple lovers has been awesome! Thank you all for the support, humour and discussions!

38mm medium black modern buckle, white sports band....

I can't believe how much more I like this BSB than the BCB I ordered with the watch. I could have saved some ca$h! Lol

Ha! I've been wearing heavy bracelets on my other watches for years, so was really looking forward to something light weight. But I'm surprised at just how comfortable the sport band is. I have no desire to look at any of the other bands as a result!

Welcome! There is a lot of good stuff around here if you can wade through some of the B.S.

Have you tried the leather loop? I initially had no interest in it, but then tried it at an Apple store and really liked the look and feel of it. I have a Space Gray Sport and ordered the Black Leather Loop a bit ago. Should finally be here tomorrow, which I can't wait for.

EDIT: Just realized you have 38mm so Leather Loop is not an option....

You could make some cash including profit if you sell the BCB on eBay ;).

Leather Loop and modern leather buckle I liked much more than the BCB personally.

People here can be very helpful, but there are a LOT of members who just like to post negativity about absolutely everything. Not sure why it's worthwhile to people to spend time doing that, but that's the internet for you.

Looks like you chose the correct size. Looks good.

Yea it didn't take long for me to see the negativity in some people.

Thank you for the compliment!

I'd like to thank the forum as well. I've had an awesome time reading all the threads in the Apple Watch subforum whilst waiting for mine.

It made me join as a member to contribute to it, I was reading on MacRumors for a long time before.

I will stay!

You won't get rid of me :p
