Siri only works by using validated certificates from 4S phones. The proxy uses submitted certificates and sends data to/from your phone using these to Apple. The problem is, you're restricted to available certificates. If there are none available, it won't work. There are paid-for proxies out there, so if you really want this service then that's the best option (without buying a 4S of course).

I only started looking at the whole 'Siri for non 4S' situation over the weekend, so apologies if this is inaccurate - this is my understanding of the process.

I looked at all the different solutions to put siri on my iPhone 4.

After installing spire i opted to use imzdl service for $20 a year.

In their e mail which you open up on your iPhone their are two links.

1st is to download the certificate.

2nd is to download their proxy profiles.

All you do then is copy and paste the nearest server to where you reside and after enabling siri in your settings your off.

I've been using siri this way for a few months now with little issue.
