i5 Dual and 2.8 Core2Duo?

How does the i5 Dual Core compare to the 2.8 Core2Duo? Is there a big leap in performance?

I am thinking of selling my 2009 for a new 13" 2011 basic model or possibly the next model up.

The i5 should be a bit faster in processor intensive applications.

Do you have an Apple store nearby? If so I suggest going there and giving the new models a try. If not...what do you do on a daily basis? Crop and chop? Games? Video editing? Gaming? Interwebs?
