Hi there,

i want to buy an imac this week. Was wondering whether there is much difference between the i5 2.8ghz and the i7 2.93.

I use my computer for surfing, lots of Word, lots of iphoto and some very light iMovie.

Thanks for your help.

Even the non-quad-core iMacs would suffice your needs, but if you want to go quad, the i5 is more than enough for the needs you stated.

He never had, and he will never have a verification for his ridiculous statements, simply because he makes them up.

Just ignore it, it's worthless arguing about it.

Does that mean, you have experience with that fella then?

Anyway, if the OP would get an iMac with the unreleased i47 CPU, than it would blow any other computer away and be more than 4200% faster.

I do indeed, but it's not only me. It's always like this, ridiculous statements, and if you ask for a source or explanation for it, nothing comes back. I mean how would he, if the statements are wrong anyway? Hard to find justifications for wrong assertions, isn't it? 😉

As I said, just ignore it, it really isn't worth it.
