Hello,

I just recently bought an Mac mini i5 base model.

I am wonder how i7 performance in terms of temps and cinebench r20.

Also how larger ssd affects speed.

Here is what I get:

As for temps, I am running at full rpm 4400

I am getting close to 90 degrees during the cinebench r20.

Can fellow owners of i7 or larger SSDs post their scores / temps?

I did not know Cinabench had a Mac App, cool.

I do not have fan control but my temps on the r20 got up to 84 and hovered around 82-84 during the test. The fans slowly got up to 4040rpm tops toward the very end of the test. They crept up from the low 3,000 range.

What we discovered is that the amount of storage space is what determines your SSD speeds. 1TB+ seems to get you the fastest 2800+/2800+ speeds.
