I've never seen iAd in my battery use before today. Anyone know what this is referring to? It isn't much battery use but why is there 16 minutes of background use?

perhaps an app you use was updating content in the background and the iAds were part of that?

Try limit Ad Tracking and maybe these as well

Settings > Privacy > Advertising > Turn on Limit Ad Tracking, then press Reset Advertising Identifier

Settings > General > Background App Refresh > switch it OFF

Settings > App and iTunes Store > Turn OFF everything here.

I have the same and did first settings (thye second one I have from before) but on the third one works just Apps updates but on the Music, Nook...I cannot turn off. What is the problem, please?

I wouldn't turn off background app refresh for everything if you still want your smartphone to behave like a smartphone, but double checking the Privacy setting is a good reminder/recommendation.

@austriak , I've never seen it listed before either. Having you been using an unusually large amount of free apps/games? They're usually ad-supported.
