Tfp0 is 80 percent of a jailbreak / r-w privileges for kernel

Needs kernel patch protection bypass (looks for tampered code actively) which Luca said it possible 10.3 onwards

In laymen terms, no guarantees, but now hopes of 11.1.2 jb !

If on 11, get on it!

Some kernel exploit was patched in 11.2 too according to pangu so

The only problem is I don’t see a jb for the X. If there is, I’ll be over the moon. But this kind of news is cause to celebrate all on its own.

I never considered jailbreaking dead, but I losing faith. This is just the best way to be fully optimistic once again.

Very true. I feel like 11.2 would be the best time to jb because the OS finally feels stable (at least for me). I’m happy staying put until a very hopeful early Christmas present arrives.

So how does this work it’s still confusing to me. Does this mean my iPhone 8 may be jailbreakable soon?

really hope that tfp0 can be applied on iPhone X too.

I really think that to have a tethered or better an untethered jailbreak on new iPhone X should be GREAT.

Just downgraded definitively to 11.1.2

I have 10.3.2 on my 7 Plus and am staying put on this IOS. Really hoping an untethered JB happens for it. My iPad Pro on 10.2 is my only JB device right now and its tethered on Yalu, so I don't want to upgrade to IOS 11 and possibly lose it if the JB doesn't happen.

If you're on 10 staying 10.3 or 10 is what I would do

If you're on 11 get on 11.1.2

I don't think we'll see 7/8/X jb for some
Time actually due to different hardware security

But maybe 6s and other 64 bit will?

Makes me wonder if 12.9 in that camp too being a10x? Prolly just as iffy as 7/8/X

Pretty neat the exploit is out there now tho

Too bad this isn’t for 11.2, waited so long for Apple Pay cash.

Is anyone still on 11.1.2 and is it stable? I doubt we’ll see a jailbreak it if this.

Staying put on 11.1.2 on X. Works pretty well for the most part

Couldn't care less about Apple Pay cash.

I got my 7+ on 11.1.2 but I am very pessimistic on a jailbreak actually getting released. Seems all the jailbrraks these days are for “research” purposes only and never see public release. Crossing my fingers.

The time is prime

No jialbreak in like forever and X hype

If one cracks X, they got 7/8 too
