What these aren't enough for you? ;)

Most of these are included automatically in the "Other Channels" collection in Sherlock in Panther, but all of the links off the dmoz page work in Jaguar too.
er I can't find the other channels selection and I downloaded some of those other channels, but no luck.. They don't show up under customize either.

I'd still like a channel that links to all the pricing bots. That would be something.

Sherlock Channels...

When I click "channels" in sherlock (v3.6), I get a two-panel window with collections "Apple Channels" and "Other Channels" (see screenshot)

I don't have the same column view. Could be because I'm on Jaguar and you're on Panther.

Hey Sherlock has just become useful! I'm reinstating it as a permanent item in my dock! These 3rd party channels are really good!

I'd love to see all the iapps feature be supported outside the US. (iTunes, iPhoto, Sherlock)

I'm with you on that one! Well, at least we know iTMS is coming (in Europe at least). Just another four months or so...

I know it's a stretch, but what if iTunes had some kind of budget version of Soundtrack included.

Better options for bookmarks in Safari would be good too. I want to alphabetize them.
Try SafariSorter freeware at http://versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/22199 or http://raisinland.webhop.org/SafariSorter/SafariSorter.html . It works great at alphabetizing your Safari bookmarks. Versions 1.0-1.2 came out in January 2004. It "will work on any Macintosh running OS 10.2 (Jaguar) or higher, including 10.3 (Panther)" and acts on "a single XML file in your Library folder." It has various preferences; for example, you can sort subfolders and bookmarks mixed together in alphabetical order, or you can alphabetize subfolders at top and non-subfolder bookmarks below. As a warning, people who love President George W. Bush should avoid Help -> "United States of America" and Help -> SafariSorter Help -> "Registration and Price."

iMovie: I'd like a list view for clips like the layers panel in PhotoShop. You can have a series of layers or in this case "movie clips" nested in folders. When you click on the arrow to the left of the folder it opens revealing the clips inside. When you click it again it collapses and you only see the folder and name. This would greatly help organizing and planning a movie.

iPhoto: I'd like to be able to set a prefix (ie. Birthday Party) for a series of pictures so that upon import the names would change to Birthday Party001, Birthday Party002, Birthday Party003, etc.

I'd also like to see all the photos on my camera's memory card in a contact sheet style window before import so that I can select, via a checkbox, only the ones I want to import.

iDVD: I want either a theme builder app or documentation on how to custom build themes for iDVD.

iSync: More phones! Still can't sync my iCal or Address Book with my Samsung a530. This may not be Apple's fault, though.

i DVD: Options for subtitle tracks. Making a seperate video with subtitles is not an option. Another feature would be more power with buttions.. I've had a lot of problems with button order (left, right etc) not making any sense. I shouldn't have to change my whole layout to cater to that rubbish.

iTunes: Lyrics. Espc. for purchaced itms music.

i really love the iapps.
some little things that i would like to add..
ical : I should be able to put todo list to repeat.
imovie n iphoto : faster plzz , as many ppl said
itunes : atleast download the album art when I am ripping an original audio cd...

Have you tried Fetch Art ?
It's not perfect, but it works until Apple has something like it.

I really like all of your feature requests, especially the iphoto request.

Safari Needs a GO Button and Some Other Wishes

Why doesn't Safari have "GO" buttons for both the web and Google fields. Here is the scenario: I am laying down on my couch , surfing the web, using my powerbook connected to a 21" monitor. I am using the Apple Blutooth mouse and I am quite a distance from my keyboard. I see something that I am interested in and I copy and paste into the google field. I then have to get up and reach over to the keyboard and press the enter key. I'm sure this may not seem like a big deal but if the goal is to get further away from my computer and relax, this really sucks.

Also why can't Safari copy directly to these fields. When you highlight text that you may want to copy, you can drag that text, but only as a text clipping. Why can't it be set up to copy and paste. I am really fond of the single button mouse but I find that I want to use my multibutton to program copy, paste, and enter. Most of the web surfing or cruising that I do does not require me to use the keyboard, except to hit the enter key.

The last thing that bugs me is that I always use 800x600 resolution, because I use my iMac from some distace away and my powerbook 12 inch is pretty small, but web pages always come up a little off screen. For every new page I have to hit the Green button or move i over manually, It has become second nature now. So better support for differnt resolutions would be great.
Itunes

Now for iTunes, whoever posted the jukebox option was right on. I want to control click a song and have it added in queue to a playlist. Dragging the sond to a playlist isn't really hard to do but it would be nice to have a simular experience as with my iPod's On the Fly Playlist.

Quicktime Organization

I would also like to see a new iApp that would help organize my Quicktime clips. Maybe something really simular to iPhoto, so I can watch my clips from a single App instead of having to hunt in differnt folders.

Stickies

Stickies, which I use alot needs to have the ability to send Stickie Notes both to other users on a single computer as well as send via Blutooth and 802.11g to other computers. Sometimes I want to leave a message or information for someone else in the household and the note can only be sent as regular text. I would like the notes color, font, size and any pictures to be sent as a sticky note. Kinda like putting a post it note on someone elses monitor. Also have more organizational features, like an interface that would store multiple notes even when they are off the screen, sort of like a place to organive all the copy and pastes I do from the web for later reading.

Address book

This program is Ok and I use in very successfully with my Sonyerricson T610 and Sailing Clicker which is amazing. The only problem though is that th Pictures that you see for each person are SO DARN SMALL. WHY? I would like to see a better picture of them and it needs better support for Birthdays and iCal.

I am just an average user who pretty recently switched and my family will never go back, the user experience is fantastic but these are really the only thins that bother me on a daily use basis, Wht do you folks think? Better yet, where can I send this feedback to Apple?

Finder: Set a series of fields that can be customized on each file (author, date, topic, yadda yadda) and then allow for a Smart Folder to be made to collect files that have fields matching the set criteria, OR for files to be searched by these. Then, while you're at it, add Smart Groups to the Address Book, and Smart Folders to Mail.

iTunes: Allow the order that the Playlists appear on the Sidebar to be changed, so that it isn't alphabetical. And if I have a song that happens to appear on multiple albums, let me list more than just one of the albums in the "Album" field, but then list the song under each of the Albums.

iTunes Music Store: Add a wishlist. Let users create their own playlists of songs on the music store (ala Celebrity Playlists), and then let these be either manually browsed by genre, or automatically suggest them to users by matching similar taste via examination of the music you buy.

iDVD: Add subtitles, and an easy way for users to create their own, basic themes.

Future iApps: BoxOffice or iBoxOffice or iTV or whatever - a movie alternative to iTunes that also replaces DVD Player. Allows DVDs to be ripped into small file size, reasonable-quality that doesn't look devastating at full screen. Auto-imports chapter markers and allows you to set bookmarks. Includes a Movie Store that sells movies, or rents them. Bought movies can be burnt to DVD via iDVD. Looks a bit like the image I attached below.

P.S. Apple - if you're interested in my idea, feel free to use it! All I demand is a G5, Superdrive equipped, 2.0Ghz, funky-looking iBook.

Nermal ,

Let me introduce you to the real world where there are locations where broadband is not officered and short of spending $700 on installation and $80-$100 a month on a satellite connection those unfortunate are stuck with dialup, you nearsighted twit.
I spend $60 a month on my cable modem and this is the ONLY option for me. Satellite= Trees blocking the southern sky, DSL=Phone lines have a signal amp at the regional node that makes this impossible, standard dialup=Max I can get is 28.8 connection. You will excuse the pissy attitude but I despise people that can't look past their own situations when it comes to finances.

Several Apps:

iWindow = Replacement for Virtual PC. This is a MAJOR item that Microsoft now holds over Apple's head. Any switcher would be comforted by the thought that they can pop their Windows 98, 2K, or XP CD into their Mac, install the OS, and run any existing application that they shelled out good money on. If you are looking to convert Windows users to the Mac this would be a major point.

iPage or iWeb = A robust, and easy to use, application for creating personal web pages. This app could have the ability to be tied to your .Mac account for easy uploading of the page

iCollection = A utility to track your collection of music, movies, baseball cards, Macs ;) , whatever.

iExpense = Lets see Apple come out with an easy to use personal finance package.

iVirus = Allows you to create a virus for Windows in a matter of minutes. Simply point and click. With the power of Microsoft's Visual Basic Script you'll be virus writing like a pro in a matter of minutes! ;) <-------Note the face before you flame me

Separate hardware:

iFone = VoIP cordless phone that connects to your Mac and allows VoIP to anyone using iChat 2.3. This phone would also integrate into your standard landline phone system by plugging your modem into the wall. The phone would have a transreflective 16-bit color LCD display and 16MB of onboard memory. The storage would store the user icons on the phone so when someone tries to VoIP you it would display their username and picture on the phone. If you want to do real-time chat with them you simply walk to your Mac drop the phone into the cradle and it instantly transfers the session over to iChat and iSight starting up a video con call. Both landline and VoIP would display an icon for the person via caller ID and a utility that comes with the phone that allows you to assign pictures and names to incoming numbers and allows direct integration with your address book to allow easy dialing of numbers.
On the phone itself you differentiate a landline and a VoIP call with a color telephone poll with an electric current running across the wire and a spinning globe with little wires zapping electrical current across the globe.

I think the iWeb is the best idea. People don't even know what they might use it for (YET)... and Apple could be the one to show them.

Beyond making an easy web page, Apple could help make your site more dynamic - easy updates, validating links, drag and drop from iPhoto, make blogs. They could also link with other iApps -
- iTunes could provide an automatic page called "Greg's favourite songs" simply listing my 5-star songs (with a link to the Apple store to preview or buy them!)
- Safari could provide a "Links" page by using my bookmarks (a new feature "don't publish this bookmark" could hide embarrassing bookmarks)
- iPhoto already has album publishing options - but lets make it work with or without .Mac (maybe pay a small fee to use your local account?)
- iCal - already know that one...
- Address book could allow "my friends" - for SOME of your contacts, you could fill in a little info so it could publish your friend's name and picture and a short blurb. Mail.app could email them to request permission?

ps. I like the iPhone too. I'd go one further and have Apple make a deal with a phone company so iChat can make and receive phone calls without a phone line. That would allow iPhone to have multiple lines, and video conference to ISDN or 3G Mobiles.

The movie store is quite a good idea but I dought Apple would include a program that could easily rip DVDs into small sizes as an iApp - you'd see DVD piracy going mad. As for its all-in-one interface replacing DVD player: NOOOOOOO! Then, not only do we lose a decent DVD Player (the Panther one is really sweet I think) but we also end up with the all one mess that is Windows Media Player!! (Windows version).

An option for DVD Player that I'd like is an option for a DVD to play in a floating window. I can position Word and Excel windows so that a DVD can be playing at half size in the gap between the toolbar and the document, with room for the formating palette and DVD remote on the top right on my small screen, but it'd be nice to be able to work on something with the DVD staying the frontmost window while I work.

iPhoto: options for importing and organising quicktime camera movies would be nice.

Safari: consistency with the graphite appearance theme. The back and forward buttons are actually gifs in the application package, not standard like the new Finder. When I change to graphite, I hate seeing blue safari buttons. Oh, and it would be nice if IGN.com didn't cause Safari to freeze for minutes on end while loading a page on a fast connection.

iChat AV: MSN compatibility and/or a Windows version.

GarageBand: better performance and a pan tracks control (like volume).

i'd love a lyric search in iTMS. you might hear a song but not be sure of the title. bring up iTMS, type in the line, buy it.
it'd also be neat if stickies was built in to the OS too.

Doubt no more. It's called GarageBand. The biggest mistake anyone can make is to underestimate Apple's creativity and intelligence.

iTunes:
Some kind of folder system would be nice.
If I look at an artist's albums, I don't need to see all the songs. It's too much scrolling.
