Just wanted to share this :)

Took it for it's first test drive today. I probably wouldn't trust it off road, but it was perfectly sturdy over the cobbled roads near mine. Will be pretty sweet for city tours and countryside jaunts.

that's actually a pretty awesome idea---please tell me you have a skin or wrap on it to protect it from road grime and errant rocks.

    Parts

Yup, I keep a white skin on the back. The ink from my red smart cover's rubbed off a bit on the front, but on the whole I'm pretty pleased with it; it's light, and keeps the profile thin.

If anyone's interested I'm using a RAM Mount Tab Tite holder with an EZ-on swivel mount which allows you to easily pop the holder off and on.

Not worried about wiping out? Also, sudden rain can quickly turn things bad.
