I purchased an activation code to iBlacklist in the early morning hours on Monday and I have not yet received my activation code. I have sent their customer service two emails in the last 3-1/2 days and I have received no reply.

It has been nearly 82 hours and nothing! I finally had to file for resolution with PayPal. I've been purchasing products off of the web and eBay with PayPal for over ten years and never had to file any kind of dispute with a transaction.

I have requested a refund. I'm done with these people!

So, this is a shoutout for others thinking about purchasing a code. Just save yourself the trouble!

I quit using iBlacklist early this year.

I had purchased 2 previous licenses, each with separate iPhones. When I bought a 3rd license for my new 3Gs 32gb iPhone this past January, I went through 3 returns with Apple within 3 weeks with problematic reception. iBlacklist told me I had to purchase a new license because they only allow 1 transfer.

Sorry, no dice, that's not how 99.9% of other companies issue software licenses.

Quite happy with 3 new licenses of mCleaner.

Right on! I'm going to mCleaner also...terrible company...terrible customer support!

It has now been 4-1/2+ days and no activation code and no response to the PayPal resolution request. I'm at 111 hours and counting. In the mean time, I'd like my requested refund of the $12.

I'd encourage others to use mCleaner. Supporting companies (apps) with such poor business practices doesn't serve in the best interests to any of us!

You can get all of the Cydias feature apps from another source.

I realize that. But I fall into the category of end users that like to support those that develop quality apps for the iPhone.

Where would we be if they didn't receive any monetary support?

There wouldn't be much incentive for developing the apps we all use and appreciate...and there wouldn't be much reason to JB.

We all wouldn't be here!

does mcleaner have the option to create a busy signal yet?

thats the feature i like best when using iblacklist and why i chose it.

It has a "Busy to Voicemail"...so I'm going to say no?

Well, I'm an iBlacklist customer who bought through Cydia and did not have a problem. Activation was quick for me.

I also bought iBlacklist through Cydia and had no issues whatsoever. Activation was quick and painless. I hadn't even heard of mCleaner until I read this (4 and a half month old) thread.

I was thinking about it, but I'm worried about needing to rebuy software I already purchased.

You don't need the code. Go to the iBlacklist site and enter your key. You can find it by opening iBlacklist. Enter that and it will tell your activation code. You can do this the second after purchasing.

I never had problems with this program or their support. I actually had an issue with my old 3GS phone. When I bought iBlacklist I had mistyped in the key of my phone, so it would not activate with the activation code. I ended up emailing their support and got an email back within an hour with a brand new code, for free. No complaints here.

I can say the same thing about mCleaner. Purchased it for an older iPhone; upgraded to the iPhone 4; was told they would send me a new activation key. That was months ago. Numerous e-mails since have gone completely unanswered -- whether it was addressed to sales/support/info@mcleaner.com.

Liked the product, but their support is pretty much nonexistent.
