Yeah, I might be wrong on the ibooks, but as long as they upgrade them by february Ill be happy. Or they could always introduce a nice new 13.3" widescreen powerbook. At that point ill be buying a new ibook/powerbook and it will be a showdown between 14.1" ibook/12.1" ibook, and 12.1"/13.3" powerbook.

If and when there is a 13" widescreen to be adopted by the PB the iBook line will also get it since it would be way to expensive for Apple to buy 12. 13, 14, 15, 17, 20, 23, 30 inch screen for they products that will increase cost and support along with other expenses.

As of current the only reason there is a 14" iBook line is because its using the PBG3 lcd panels. :)

You'll probably be looking at the PowerBook then. The iBooks are probably about 3 months away from an update. Just don't want people to be disappointed.

Its funny that like dell users for instance, dream about the next ugrade like "I can't wait untill they have a P4 4ghz in the dimesion 4600". Its intresting to observe. Part of being a Mac user though i guess.
