CanadaRAM macrumors G5 Oct 13, 2006 #2 Yes this will work. The Powerbook G4 12" uses PC2700, the iBook G4 uses PC2100, but the PC2700 is compatible with PC2100 speeds. In general you can put the faster ram in the slower socket, but not reverse. Thanks Trevor CanadaRAM.com
