Hello
My girlfriend got a 12" ibook for Christmas. Everything was fine until a few days ago. Since then the battery won't charge completely anymore. The battery light on the cable is orange until the charge-display on the screen shows 47% (or something like 3-4 hours left to charge), then it turns green and stopps charging! The the charge-lights on the battery itself then only show 2 lights out of 4. The ibook can be used for about 1h and then turns itself off without warning.
Anyone any ideas?
(I already resetted the PMU -> didn't help...)

Recalibrate the battery. You do this by charging full, then run on batteries until the ibook goes to sleep. Wait until it cools, then recharge it again without interruption. You may want to fully discharge and charge it up once again to see if the battery is calibrated. If not, it may need replacement.
