ibook battery question

i recently got a new ibook and my battery doesn't go to 100%. the battery icon and the light indicator on the charger both show that the battery is fully charged, but when i set it to show the percentage of battery life it's only at 99% and i've only been able to get it to 100% once for about 30 seconds. it's not a huge problem, but i'm still wondering since it is brand new... should i be concerned?
